Hi everyone!
Thanks so much for backing our campaign :) Usually, I wait until there is gooder news (like rewards are ready) before I reach out, but since there are so many new faces among you, I wanted to take a chance to let you know what's going to happen now.
First, we really do appreciate your support. This is now my third most popular campaign ever, and I've run a lot of campaigns in my life. The level of support has been overwhelming.
So, what now?
First, you card should have been charged last night. About 5% of you have errored cards, and you have until the end of the week to correct them.
Meanwhile, I'm setting up our fulfillment through Backerkit. Once that is set up, it is where you'll be getting your surveys and any rewards. It will not come from Kickstarter. This is just where we run the campaign.
I've already got the rewards ready to fulfill digitally, but I have to way 24 hours for the information to populate in Backerkit, and then 48 more hours for them to review our campaign.
So, I expect to get approval for that in the middle of the week, and be able to send surveys by the end of the week.
Once those are ready and I know how many of you have successful pledged, I will order books. If you are in the UK, then Claire is going to personally fulfill your campaign.
If you are in the US or live outside the UK, then our fulfillment house will be fulfilling the campaign. I would love to take this on myself, but I have several chronic conditions that preclude me from taking on anything so large as this. I've had to retire from exhibiting at shows this year because the stress of it is too much for me, and this is even more stress than that.
Even though the campaign says that we estimate fulfillment in December, I would love to get these physical books fulfilled by October. If you want to help with that, just fill out your survey when I send it out.
I'll also send another update with instructions on how to download your rewards. Expect that during the end of the week.
Meanwhile, unless you have to correct your pledge, there is nothing for you to do but have a sit and think, or twiddle your thumbs.
Thanks again!
